Hi all,

I have a report that uses the running total built in function in my formula. As a result I cannot group on this formula or use it in my selection criteria because its a 'whileprintingrecords' function.

However I need to group on the results. How do I do this? Can I set it as a subreport and pass through the results?

Cheers

Jon

I would consider using more advanced techniques, such as SQL Expressions or a View/SP on the database.

The overall design is suspect. Rather than suggesting to people that they use your architecture, I would suggest that you supply technical information and solicit ideas on how to satisfy requirements.
