I have Oracle8i Enterprise Edition (to learn at home) and want to learn it thoroughly. I have two computers, one to act as the client, the other to act as the server. However, I cannot afford NT Server software. Can I install Windows XP Professional workstation software onto the server computer, then install Oracle server software onto it, install Oracle client software onto the other computer (loaded with Windows XP Professional) and have the whole thing work properly?

If not, what do you suggest?
