Using Ole Object in a query to merge with Word

I would like to use a query that includes an ole object (signatures) and merge it with a Word document but all I get is "Long binary or text value" where the signature should be.

I have tried the Microsoft Knowledge Base and the Keyword search for this sight but can't find an answer. Can this be done, and if so, how?
