I recently upgraded to Win XP, OE 6.0/IE6.0 at work.

I normally use Outlook, but at times I will use OE when reading emails I've saved to cd-rom. (At home, I'll forward a host of emails to myself, then save to CD, read them later).

When opening an .eml file, OE would open and I'd open the attachment and read through. When trying this today, OE opened, asked me for all the connection information. I declined to set that up. Now, when opening the file, an OE window appears, but NOT the normal OE program. The attachments are blocked and since I don't have the OE program open, or find it, I cannot go further. The only menu options are for that particular email. No tools, accounts etc.

I cannot even find the program file to open OE!

Arrrggghh

Cancel the previous message. I changed the startup menu to the new WinXP interface and OE showed up there. I was able to open it, change the security setting and the emails open up fine.
