This is for NRU users

What is your setup for PC's with built in modems or laptops where there is no second port for an analog phone for operator assisted calls?

I have been using an external modem since day one and of course they have a 2nd port to plug in a phone where you can ask the client to do the F9XX then you hang up.
Can I just loop dial tone to another jack for my analog set?.

Reason I ask is because I don't think the 2 ports where looped on the modem until I clicked OK.

Curlycord: I think I'm missing something. You could loop DT to another jack for a voice call, but you couldn't use the modem connection at the same time anyway. I have used a built in modem and a desktop phone on an older laptop but not at the same time. When done with the programming, hangup then make the call to the customer.

OK. I've done it with both a internal and external modem. Made the call with the set and when transfered to the RAD or PBX modem, use a AT command to complete the connection.
