Hi,

Is there a way of using feature codes (e.g.,Feature code 983 for voice mail software level) by calling into a Norstar externally?

Thanks
Michael

Hi All.

What are the most sought after Norstar and Merdian PBX cards/parts at the present time?

Regards,

Michael

You have to know that the display on your mobile or home phone will not help you.

Feature codes are for internal use.
There is just 3 or 4 features maybe but only via DISA.

When posting you should state which model of voicemail and which software version then we better answer/expand such as web browser use.

Thanks for your reply Curlycord.

Are feature codes possible if done remotely, but using M7310, T7316, or M7324? phones?

Thanks you.

Michael

Norstar/BCM use digital phones, they must be connected to the KSU.
For a person working off site they would use Citel's MCK Extender.
There is a few to choose from depending on amount of sets and application including fibre for a 0X16 module.

BCM is a Hybrid and uses both digital and IP phones.
Release 6 uses a Remote Worker feature which means IP sets can connect via port forwarding (securely) instead of setting a clunky VPN service.
