Using non-micros client with Micros 3700

Hello, I received a touch dynamic POS system running Windows XP SP2. I am trying to add it to my current micros WS5a setup. I added this new one to the network node, and it appears and allows me to reboot it though micros control panel.

I downloaded the micros 3700 CAL to this system, all of the programs appear but when I try to run the RES. I get a fatal error message "Encryption Initialization Failed"

Can I use this system???? I was trying to see if I can use non-micros workstations with my 3700 system. If I can't oh well, I got this new one for free but it would be super nice!!!

Any information for me?

Try exporting Userdata from Server registry

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\MICROS\UserData

and import to your client pc and restart
