Hi, I've got 4 laptops - 3 on XP Pro and 1 on XP Home - that need to move frequently between 3 locations and use the LAN there. When I've tried to automate the setting of IP and DNS information using NETSH only the Alternate Configuration of XP's TCP/IP properties is changed, rather than the main configuration, which results in the users having to manually enter all their IP and DNS information each time they travel to a different office. Any ideas how I can get NETSH to change the Main Configuration rather than the Alternate Configuration?

Any advice you can give would be most appreciated.

Many thanks

Sorry, my own dense fault. In the end was down to me misspelling the LAN connection name. Apologies.
