using Netscape as browser but ms proxy server not allowing it

Hello,

We are using Netscape 4.05 browser but our ms proxy server doesn't allow it. Normally we have users connecting to the internet via a win nt domain, but when using Netscape we have to create users again in our proxy server before netscape can work. Why?
