Using my own font

Is there a way to download a font file along with the web page to have that font displayed on the page. The font I want to use is a non-standard Windows font, and I really want to make this work. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated! Thank you.

Hi mate,

there is a way to specify a url to the font but I can`t remember the syntax..

I will try to find out but in the meantime, someone else here may be able to help you..

There are so-called at-rules in CSS2. One of them is @font-face.

I'm not sure that it's safe from cross-browser compatibility viewpoint.
