Hi all,

I got a couple of databases in MDE format. If I understand correctly MDE is MDB but the VB script is in a compiled state. My some problem is that I have some databases (MDE) made with the access 97 runtime, and some that are made with the access 2000 runtime. I want to be able to open alle the databases. This requires installing 2 differernt runtime versions?

1. Where can I find the access 2000 runtime (I searched microsoft.com to no avail, I did find the 97 runtime).
2. If I find the different runtime versions how do I proceed from there?
3. Isn't there a way to convert the access 97 mde files to access 2000 mde? I read I need the original mdb versions but I haven't got these =(

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Kind regards,
Thor Wijnen
