I have created a cube with a variety of measurements (actual dollars, budget, forecast, variance, etc.) I would like to be able to show these measures in multiple date dimensions at the same time. That is, I want to show the measures above in Current Month, Current Year to date, and Inception to date categories.

How do I set up my cube and/or my PowerPlay report to show these measures in multiple date configurations on the same report?

Thanks...

Hi Iniki,

To get the result you want, you will need to use intersected categories in a Reporter report.

1) Change to a Reporter report
2) Highlight and delete all rows or columns (depending on where you want the new data to be shown)
3) Show the Dimension Viewer
4) Expand the Measures folder and the folders containing your dates
5) Using ctrl, highlight the date and measure you want and press the intersect button s.t
6) Then press the add as rows (or columns) button
7) Repeat steps 5 and 6 for each combination of date/measure

Hope it helps

Hi Kevin

That was a neat step by step explanation. You should get a red star for this!!!
