Is there anyone who knows how to make use of the functions available in this control to send/receive data through the com ports??

I have read through the method of using the Createfile,Writefile but i was wondering whether anyone knows how to make use of the mscomm32.ocx control in VC++ 6.0 for serial communication instead??
