Using Ms Data Report with Interdev???

Dear All,
For my knowledge, we can use Ms Data Report Designer from Visual Basic 6. We can also execute the report created from Ms Data Report Designer from the VB application executables.

Is there any way to use Ms Data Report Designer with Interdev 6? Actually, I am looking for report tool that can produce report in some formats that can be viewed on browser. I have heart Crystal Report has that kind of functionalities. However, it will incured additional cost.

To see a VB6 report, you would need a browser plug-in - which I do not think exists.

Crystal does provide a plug-in, and this renders Crystal Reports reports in the browser in exactly the same layout as running them locally. Quite clever really.

There may be other choices report providers, but if you cannot stand doing reports in HTML Tables (or the GridDTC), then you will have to spend a little money - as decent reports are very complex.
