Hello,

I've made a flash movie with a preloader, using getBytesTotal, that goes to the next scene as soon as the whole swf is loaded.
Using many pictures made my swf very large so I would like to change the way my swf is being loaded.
I would like the preloader to move on as soon as my first scene is loaded. I would also like to add preloaders at the beginning of each scene I go to after a certain button is clicked but.
So does anyone know a way to test if a scene is loaded without using the deprecated ifFrameLoaded?

Thanks in advance!

Anna K.

You can split your project up into separate movies rather than separate scenes - this way you can use loadMovie() to load one movie from another and recycle your preloader for each one. Slainte
