Can you change the cell width of 1 particular cell based on the length of the text that populates that 1 cell?

Please try Colwidth(<your Cell reference>) = Len(<of your text>)
If I am not wrong to understand your question.

I think the cell width is in twips/pixels/something - and not characters. So you'll have to use a non-proportional font and work out how many twips per character first of all.

I'm not aware that you can change the width of just one cell -- you can change the width of a whole column but I'm not sure how you'd change just the one cell.

Mike
michael.j.lacey@ntlworld.com
<a href= Cargill's Corporate Web Site
