Greetings,

We are an ASP, providing a web-based lead fullfillment application; with VoIP Integration, via an XTEN Softphone. If our client's infrastructure can't handle straight VoIP, one of our integration solutions entails using a Intel Netstructure PBX-IP Media Gateway (Mostly model # PIMG80PBXDNI). This solution has worked very well, so far.

We recently came across a client who has a Merlin Magix Partner System (Analog PBX). We tried implementing a Intel Netstructure PBX-IP Media Gateway model PIMG80LSV4. When the client dials out (our application only allows outbound), the call rings once, and goes fast busy. We think that this might be a timing/multplexing issue. Does anyone have any experience with this configuration/issue?

Robert

Merlin Magix and Partner are two different offerings, both from Avaya. Magix supports more lines, stations, features, and interconnection types. Partner is more suitable for small office. If you can, let us know which one your client has, and if it's Partner, re-post on the Partner Tek-Tips forum.
