Hi all,
I am using Crystal 8.5 Developer. When I create a report in Crystal itself, I am able to add memo fields from the database and the data is viewable in the report.
However, when I create the same report using the VB RDC and use unbound string data types, I get an error that memo fields cannot be referenced in formulas.
So, essentially I need to be able to display memo fields in my report using unbound strings. The suggested fix of using substrings to split the memo field is not practical for my application.
Is there a way to exclude specific unbound fields from being available in formulas, and thus make memo fields available for display in these reports?
Thanks
