Want to give some users the permission to change access codes for different meet-me-conferences (basic system, not expanded).
There exists an feature access-code, in my case *97.

Does somebody has any detail information about this feature? Per example dialing which digits?

I gave these users console permissions (in my case COR 0). Tried to dial *97, then one of the Meet-Me-Conference- VDNs and then the new access code, then #.
But it doesn´t work.

Any ideas? Found no documentations about this ...

Hi,

I've been through this one before, below is the process I follow.

If users want facility to change their own pin:

Set users extension as controller in meet me vdn

User must follow instructions below:

Dial Feature Access Code #10 (in your case this will be *97)

At tone enter meet me vdn, press #
At tone enter old pin, press #
At tone enter new pin, press #
At tone enter new pin again, press #
At confirmation tone hang up

If you're setting up a new meet me VDN set the pin to something random, let the user know and then if their station ID is defined in the VDN they can then personalise it.

Hope that helps you,

Kind Regards

Craig

Thanks Reynolds723, works great. I've been able to get our whole meet-me conference test setup programmed from posts here on Tek-Tips. Thanks again guys, a major help.
