Hi,

I am currently displaying a table horizontally in my web browser, when printing, the table exceeds the A4 width and the data is cut off. I am able to put the table vertically and also the direction of the text using 'writing-mode' so that the full table is printed out, however i would still like the table to appear horizontal in screen mode whilst reverting to vertical for printing.

Is there a way of doing this using the 'media' css property to determine the table output type?

Cheers

Coxy

I've found that for A4 paper, setting the width of tables to no more than about 650 pixels gives good results. This, of course, depends on your margin settings!

Hope this helps,
Dan
