using media playback component

hi!

i'm working on an mp3 player.
i successfully set an XMl driven playlist that contains track names their associated online adresses (i.e.
i successfully set up the playlist so that clicking on a track name launches a function, but i am having trouble composing the function to plug in the address of the track into the media playback component.

i have no trouble referring to the track address, just using the proper method to plug it into the component.

help!
