I have been using unmanaged reports for some time due to its ease of use and the fact that we do not own CE 9 Pro (which has security enabled and the only way to restrict user access to reports is with IIS and NTFS permissions).
I have read about using "managed" reports, but calling the rpeorts using crystal web request by calling the report ID of the file.
If we publish many reports into multiple folder, then subfolders, how do we find each report's Report ID in order to call it with that instead of the rpt?
If I use asp pages in order to force the Activex viewer on version 9, how can we combine asp in IIS with cwr?
If they are dropping the ability to use unmanaged reports, how can we then Manage them? I have looked at the developer's CE_SDK.chm, but haven't found anything useful in it.
Does anyone use CE 9 Standard with Managed reports using asp pages in IIS?
