Using main window whilst keeping popup on top

Hello to you all

I'm quite new to all of this so 'patience'....I'm trying to keep a popup window on top of my main window using onBlur....this works but blocks any user interaction in the main window......could anyone tell me if there is a way to use both windows whilst still keeping my popup on top ??

I think this can only be accomplished in IE(5+?), using the wonderful showModelessDialog method of the window object:

in netscape, maybe you can use a layer, with a src property and load the file into, but I'm not too good with NS...
