Using linestyle in access for excel automation.

Good Day.

I am trying to use "Selection.Borders(xlDiagonalDown).LineStyle = xlNone" in access to automate line styles in a excel. I have tried ".Selection.Borders(xlDiagonalDown).LineStyle = xlNone" (adding the . before Selection, but I keep getting Runntime error 1004. Can you tell me what I need to change this to work.
