I have created a range parameter where the user selects a start customer code and an end customer code.

Then I created a formula uisng the join function to extract the customer codes selected so that I can print
these on my report so that the recipient of the report
knows the customer codes selected.

However I get the error "a string array is required here".

Any help would be appreciated

Try something like:

"Customer Codes from " + totext(minimum({?rangeparm}),0,"") + " to " + totext(maximum({?rangeparm}),0,"")

-LB

Thanks for this.
Your assistance is very much appreciated.
