Hi All!
I have two desktops with Win XP Pro which I have networked using a hub. The external Broadband Modem is also connect to the hub. Is there a way of sharing internet access using this confirguration? Each machine can connect seperately to the internet no problem but I'd like both to be able to do so simultaneously.
I only have one network card on each machine - hence the need for the hub.
Thanks

No, this won't work. Your options are:

[ul]
[li]replace the hub with a router/gateway device[/li]
[li]put a second network card in one of the computers and use ICS or similar. You would connect the broadband modem to the new network card. The hub can remain the same.[/li]
[/ul]

Thanks for your help on this one. I was hoping there might be some work around for this or some other piece of software I could use to share the connection. Is this limitation particular to ICS or is it because you just cannot share internet connections using a hub?
