Using headset and lifte

Hi everyone,

I have several users that have starting using a Plantronics CS50 wireless headset and HL10 lifter on thier 2616 sets. These seem to work pretty well for the most part. I have just recently been told that the HL10 lifter should be able to detect ringing on the set and transmit this through to the headset. Is this correct? If so, what do I need to do to get this feature to work?

You need to turn up the ringing volume.

You may have to use the Auxiliary microphone. This should be included in your CS 50 kit.

The aux microphone turned out to be the solution. The users that had installed these didn't know what microphone was for so they just threw them in a desk drawer.
