Using hardware firewalls with NTL broadband?

Is anyone out there using a hardware based firewall appliance (Cisco PIX or similar) with NTL broadband?

After finally getting through to their tech support people, I was helpfully informed that "it's not supported" but that they knew of people that had achieved this... So, if anyone out there has any experience of this, I'd be most interested to hear from them.

Yep me too! NTL broadband trying to connect with company PIX firewall VPN. It works over BT broadband, but not NTL. Tech help(?) not getting it.
