Can I configure an M3905 call center phone to answer any ringing line by lifting the handset? (Yes, I have the handsets and cradle kits for these phones.) I have CLS IRA, NIA, and OLA as well as LPK 3 and LHK 3, but I still have to manually select the ringing line on keys 0 through 3 to answer. What am I missing? I want to be able to do a handset answer. Thanks!

I've had this problem in the past, and although the M3905 appears to have a "hook" under the face plate, it is fake. If you take one apart it you'll find that it hasn't got any circuit wiring.

I get what you're saying, but you can terminate a call with the switchook. I admit I'm mostly ignorant on how a phone is wired on the inside, but why the hell can you use the switchook to hang up, but not to answer a call? Grrr....
