I'm unable to figure out how to use the GroupSelection function within the Formula Editor. Could someone provide some example as soon as possible.

Thanks,

YAmoah

This isn't a function that you would typically use in a formula.

Crystal generates two selection formulas, the record selection formula and the group selection formula. The record selection forumla is generated when you use the select expert with a database or simple formula field. The Group selection formula is generated when you add a rule using a "group" field, more commonly known as a subtotal, as your criteria.

If you have a group selection formula, and you use this function in a formula all by itself, the formula will return the contents of the group selection formula.

The RecordSelection formula will return the contents of the record selection formula.
