Using Goldmine thru remote dial-up

Hi,

Currently using Goldmine 6.5(Dbase).
Its a network installation with the database on the server, so all the office users need is an ICON pointing to the install (G:\goldmine\gmw6.exe)

This setup works fine in the office.
But when I do this from a laptop over a VPN dial-up, its horrifically slow.

Is there another way to improve performace over dialup?

Hi,

GoldMine won't run in that manner. Use Windows Terminal Server.
