I need to include the greek character for alpha into some text I'm laying out in a newsletter. The sentence I imported from Word also included the beta character which came into ID as a beta character. The greek alpha is only a letter "a", not the appropriate symbol. I can't find the alpha symbol in glyphs. The font I'm using is Adobe Caslon Pro Regular. I'm on a PC.

In the glyphs window select Show "entire font" and see if you can find it.

You might have to select a different font as I don't think caslon has alpha. for a serif font, both Warnock pro and Minion do have the plain alpha.
