Does anyone have any idea how to use a global variable in an ExecuteSQLTask or possibly any sample code? I have the variable setup through the property section and also have a Dynamic Properties Task setup to change the value of the global variable based on a query. I have 81 ExecuteSQLTasks setup in the DTS in question and about half of them need to use this value in their WHERE clause. I have been to every site I can think of and all the information I can find is that they can be accessed in an ActiveX Script. I have to go back and run this DTS package for each day since 1/1/03 so any information or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!!
Thanks!

Ummm - I think you should look at the design of what you are doing because it sounds like it is getting out of control.

I usually set the query to execute from an activex script which is run at the start of the package. It's easy to build the query using the global parameters.

There are examples of the sort of thing on

Cursors are useful if you don't know sql.
DTS can be used in a similar way.
