Using Full Index Searching with MS Index Server

Hi, does anyone know whether the full text indexing facility within Exchange
2Kbinds with MS Index Server and if so how well?

On one server we have Exchange 2K holds documents and works with the
Exchange workflow as part of an Intranet solution. MS Index Server is also
used on this server to index word,excel and HTML files etc. etc.

If full text indexing is in use on E2K, does this automatically link to MS
Index server as well or do certain parameters have to be set before this can
take place.

Maybe it's to late to answer, but ...

When you enable Full-Text index on Exchange 2000 (Store Property) then the installed MS Search Service will be used.

You can customize this by using Pstoreutl from Program Files\Common Files\System\MSSearch\bin
