Using FTP in Win 2000

Hi,

I would like to find out more about using FTP commands in windows 2000 pro, where can i find the relevant information?
Can i type the destination and the file name in Command prompt and send it to an IP? Or do i need other external FTP programs in order to use it?

Any comments / advice will be appreciated.

Actually i starting fresh on this topic and currently filled by several doubts. May i know how to start the FTP in Windows 2000? And where can i found sample commands for FTP?

Will do a search myself later but will appreciate any pointers from any helpful person. Thanks.

click start then help. type in ftp and choose subcommands under ftp commands.
