Using FROM field causes a blank sender address

I have given certain users permission (through AD U&G) send on behalf authority to send from a public mail-enabled folder. WHen they click the from tab (in a new email) and select thier name (and email address) and send it it shows up with no sender address when the mail is delivered.

This used to work and I can't figure out why it stopped.
