Using FoxPro for Windows 2.6, how can I force a "setup printer" dialog? Also, I want to make the system menu (sysmenu) available during a program. Using "set sysmenu on", the menu shows up, but if you select an option (like "File"), none of the lower options (like "setup printer") are available. Thanks.

I don't know a clean way to do this -- there may be an API call that you can use and maybe others will comment. What I've done in the past is to create a dummy report named setup and an associated dummy table with one record in it, and then call the report with the prompt clause as in

REPORT FORM SETUP.FRX TO PRINTER PROMPT NOCONSOLE

This will bring up the printer diaglog which allows printer setup --

Like I said not a clean way and maybe someone can comment on a better way.
