using Flash in Director

I do a lot of coding in ActionScript and it wasn't only until recently that this came up. How do I import my SWF file in Director while still being able to retain its coding functionality once I save it as a projector?

It all depends on what version of Flash and Director you use. Flash 7 .swf are compatible only with Director Mx. Some things like keydown clip events don't seem to work in Director while enterFrame clip events work with little problems. So it all depends on your Actionscript coding as well. Path issues with loadMovie or loadVariable can cause problems if you do not import the .swf as remotely linked. Can't think of anything else at the moment.
