hope im not gettin too annoying with my questions, but is there any way of using the find method for more than one string, lets say i know that in column A ill have the words interstate or intrastate, how do i make it so that it can search for the first instance of any one of these words, which ever comes up first, thanks!!

Not sure that you can submit two different values in one Find, but it would be pretty easy to do a find for each value and then see which found cell is closer to the top.
