I have the options in Access set to General Search so my cursor can be in any field and I will be able to find the requested record. However the search fails. If I click on the correct field and change the Look in: box to that particular field instead of the form name I can find the record. I do have a subform on this form but I am clearly in the main form when I begin the search.

I have created dozens of Access databases over the last couple of years and have not had this problem before.

Any ideas?
