Hello,

I was wondering if it is possible to access an email account on a Microsoft Exchange server from a linux workstation. I am fairly familiar with using fetchmail, but only when accessing mail from a unix mail server. Does Exchange allow this ? If so, how hard is it to set up ?

Thanks in advance,

Alan

You create .fetchmailrc file in your home directory to the following :
poll pop3.exchangeserver.com with protocol pop3;
user steve there is user spiderman here
password "topsecret"
Explaination :
pop3.exchangeserver.com hosts our pop3 account and that we will contact it using the pop3 protocol.
User account on the pop3 server is steve and our local account is spiderman.The password for the pop3 account.
Good luck.....:)
