Using Exch2000 and Exch2003

Hello everyone, what i want to ask to all of you is, is it possible to have a production windows 2000 dc with exch2000 and a windows 2003 and exch2003 all in the same organization and domain.

I ask this because i have a former production domain in windows 2000 yet!!!! but i will migrate very soon to a mixed 2003 domain. But i need the windows 2003 and exch 2003 in the same organization because i want to move the maiboxes content to exch 2003 but all in the same org. So my point is to make this migration very slow and without affecting the users.
