I've done some investigation of running VBA in OpenOffice and can't get a feel of where things stand. Does anyone know if OpenOffice Excel can currently run VBA programs created on a PC?
Thanks for any help,

hi,
OpenOffice Excel
Are you using "Excel" generically, meaning Spreadsheet Application, like referring to Facial Tissue as "Kleenex"?

My impression is that there is currently a version of MS Excel that runs in OpenOffice. Am I mistaken?

Open Office has a spreadsheet application, but not "MS Excel"

Open office has at least limited possibilities to run excel-vba code. I was using a bit go-oo line of open office, it could run excel (at least up to 2003) code. Some time ago its developers moved to libre office.
Some info on last 3.3 stable line of libre office: The stable 3.4 version will soon be available.
