Using Ethereal to sniff Messenger

Can anyone suggest a capture filter to use to sniff MSN Messenger packets. I have tried:

ether proto msnms (get a message saying not a valid filter)

Any suggestions?

Have you tried capturing traffic on port 1863 (the default messenger port)??
