Is it even possible to get an Ericsson IP Phone to register with a non-Ericsson H.323 Gatekeeper?
I know in the configuration file you can specify the system type the phone will be registering to (MD110, BP, WEBSWITCH etc), but is there any way you can use a 'generic' H.323 Gatekeeper?
I have a DBC42202 and for testing purposes (i.e. DHCP Option 43, auto VLAN's etc) and would like to see the next step - i.e. the phone successfully registering with a H.323 Gatekeeper and showing 'logged on'. I have a Cisco router that is configured as a H.323 Gatekeeper and I have MS Netmeeting working with it, I was hoping I could get an Ericsson IP phone working with it?
Any one tried this?
