I have a user community which is unhappy to input news and articles via a web form but who are happy to submit emails to me for me to publish. Has anyone seen an application (ASP/MS SQL Server) which would allow them to email content for automatic publishing?

Thanks

Never seen a utility to do this, but the scenario is:

Have a new mailbox set up specifically for these submissions.
Using CDONTS access this mailbox regularly (could schedule the process) and loop through all the mail in the inbox, extracting the body and writing records to your database. Delete or archive each mail after it has been processed.

In SQL server you can set up an ActiveX Script task in a DTS package to do all this. Then get your DBA to use sql scheduler to run the package at regular intervals.
