Using DTS to transform Replicated data

Has anyone ever used DTS with Replication? I see this option is available, but I'm not sure how to implement it. All I need to do is change the names of a few columns.

Any ideas?

could'nt you just use Query builder from DTS and select source tables to your target using column alias'
