Hi ,

I have requirement in which some ASCII files will keep coming in a particular folder of my webserver.
I have to load the data in those files into SQL Server after validations.
I thought of using DTS, but not been able to figure out how can I specify a directory in DTS (means load all files one by one in that directory).

Moreover this loading job will run through a scheduler..(run at night !!)

Any suggestions plz..the schedule is tooo tight.

Thanks

There are examples of importing all files in a directory using DTS at the SQLDTS and SWYNK websites. The examples incude downloadable code.

See faq183-962: "Where can I find more DTS information and samples?" for more DTS resources.
