Hi everyone,
I recently finished my doctorate studies from Australia in Engineering. I am also going to apply for a course to fulfill the 35 PDUs requirement. Can someone please guide me if I can use my experience from doctoral project as 4500 hrs experience in order to sit for the PMP exam even though this (academic) project has similar stages as any other (industrial) project.

Please let me know all the possible options and what kind of help you can provide me in this regard.

Thanks in advance!

I somewhat doubt that you will be able to use that time as part of requirement of 4500 hours working in project management "leading and directing project tasks" (quote is from the PMI website).

Frankly, the only people who can advise you accurately are an email away: customercare@pmi.org
