Hello,
I run an Exchange server that is using the same DNS server as my Pop server. This unfortunately means that whenever people on the Exchange server try to send me email, it bounces with this error :
Your message did not reach some or all of the intended recipients.
Subject: test

The following recipient(s) could not be reached:
tom@samedns.com on 11/12/2003 11:06 AM
You do not have permission to send to this recipient. For assistance,
contact your system administrator.
<MAIL.exchangeserver.com #5.7.1 smtp;550 5.7.1
<spheramail_tom@samedns.com>... Relaying denied>
I would love some advice on how to fix this. I have had some advice that I should make all mails going to @samedns.com go through a different SMTP server? But I am not sure how helpful this would be.
My other solution would be to try and get them to put some kind of DNS entry to stop confusion for the Exchange server.
Suggestions?
Would appreciate your help
